Brick Store Museum
Founded in 1936 to preserve and present the heritage of the Kennebunks, the Brick Store Museum is now a regional history, art, and archives center located in the heart of Kennebunk, Maine’s historic district. Poke around the museum or sign up for one of their walking tours to learn about the storied pasts of the town’s notable architecture.

Built in 1853, the Greek revival mansion known as White Columns has been preserved throughout the years to retain its old-world charm. Two centuries of history beckon when you take one of the guided tours that wends through seven on the home’s rooms, chronicling both the lives of the family who lived there and the town in which they flourished.

Seashore Trolley Museum
When the Seashore Trolley Museum was established in 1939, they featured a single open trolley car, No. 31 from the Biddeford & Saco Railroad Company. The museum now holds the distinction of being the oldest and largest electric railway museum in the world, with a collection containing more than 250 transit vehicles from the US and Canada, and beyond.
